  1. I think the best thing to do is don’t lose your mind! xD

    Series are tricky and there is not much advice out there. It’s important to plan things from the start so you don’t get lost.

  2. It seems to me that the biggest advantage of writing a series is that it leads to the single most effective marketing strategy for an indie author – making the first book free or .99 for a short time and doing promos.

    Every six-figure indie author I’ve read advice from advocates this strategy above all others.

    Only true fans will follow an author from one book to another, but most readers are inclined to finish out a series.
